DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station offers great views, exceptional service and vibrant food & beverage outlets and is currently looking for a new IT Trainee to join the IT team!
Our hotel features an award-winning rooftop bar & terrace, pop-up restaurant Eastwood Beer & Grill, a Lobby Bar including our own in-house library, our own Eastwood Coffee Store, Amsterdam's most extensive breakfast buffet, fifteen versatile meeting rooms and 557 guest rooms.
As a IT Trainee at DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Central Station, you will work closely with our IT manager to provide support and assistance in managing the hotel's technology infrastructure.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting and Technical Support: Responding to technical issues reported by hotel staff and guests, troubleshooting software and hardware problems, and providing prompt resolutions to minimize disruptions.
- Network and System Maintenance: Assisting in the maintenance of the hotel's computer network, including setting up and configuring workstations, ensuring connectivity, and monitoring network performance.
- Software and Hardware Installation: Assisting with the installation and configuration of software applications and hardware devices, ensuring compatibility and functionality across different systems.
- User Training and Support: Assisting in providing training sessions to hotel staff on using various software applications and devices, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their roles efficiently.
- Data Security and Backup: Assisting in maintaining data security measures, including regular data backups and system updates, to safeguard sensitive guest information and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Inventory Management: Assisting in the management of IT inventory, including tracking and maintaining an up-to-date inventory of hardware, software licenses, and peripherals.

- Basic knowledge of computer networks, hardware, and software systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applications

- Good command of both Dutch and English languages. Any other languages would be an advantage.
