Hilton The Hague is looking for a new Allround Finance Medewerker!
Do you know how the finances for a hotel look like? And do you want pursue an administrative career in the hospitality industry? Then you might be the candidate we’re looking for!

What you will be doing:
As Accounts Receivable Clerk you are responsible for all events, conferences and meetings that are being charged on account. To ensure a smooth process you are in close contact with our Banqueting and Groups, Conferences and Events department. On top of that some of the room bookings are also being charged on account, which makes you the person in contact with our Front Desk and Reservations department. As Accounts Receivable Clerk you take care of the different bank accounts and you ensure these are updated with great eye for detail. When something is wrong, you turn into a real chaser. You contact the right department and make sure the guest receives the correct invoice. In this role, you will not only be the contact point for your colleagues in the hotel, but also for the guests and external companies. You take care of a good follow up to ensure all bills are being paid on time and are correct on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

This role is combined with the role of Income Auditor, where you will be responsible for the daily review of all revenues (hotel, F&B, etc.) and posts in the general ledger. You will monitor credit card charges, payment discrepancies, refunds, returns and miscellaneous charges. Naturally, you will provide other financial support to your team and the hotel when required.

We are looking for someone who:
  • Has a positive, motivated and committed attitude;
  • Has strong communication skills;
  • Has strong organizing and administrative skills;
  • Has an eye for detail and is great at working in an organized way;
  • Has great computer skills, especially in Word, Excel and Outlook;
  • Is fluent in Dutch and English;
  • Has a valid working permit for The Netherlands;
  • Has great understanding of the hospitality industry and/or Finance.

Being a successful Accounts Receivable Clerk/Income Auditor is not something you do on your own. The Finance team of Hilton The Hague is led by a Finance Manager and supported by an Assistant Finance Manager, Accounts Payable Clerk and you. Everybody has their own expert field of knowledge. We work hard to ensure great financial results, but also take time to discuss our weekend over coffee and celebrate as much as possible.
