A Chef de Rang with Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts is responsible for delivering an excellent Guest and Member experience while working to achieve departmental targets.

What will I be doing?
We are currently looking for a flexible and enthusiastic Chef de Rang. Within this position your main tasks will be:

• Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner
• Be a team player who likes to achieve his/her goals together with others
• Take and deliver customer orders, consistently demonstrating high levels of customer service
• Provide professional and current knowledge of wines to guests
• Prepare set ups for tablesFollow cash handling procedures
• Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
• Up-sell with latest departmental incentives
• Ensure compliance of brand standards
• Strive to achieve departmental targets
• Ensure cleanliness of work areas
• Work closely together with the restaurant manager and build a strong team to optimize guest experience

What are we looking for?
We are looking for a person to strengthen our young and vibrant team, someone who is willing to strive for perfection and do so with passion and enthusiasm. Required skills, attitude and knowledge are:

• Service oriented.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position.
• Positive and friendly attitude towards our guests and fellow team members.
• Helpful and pro-active.
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English.
