Radisson Hotel & Suites Amsterdam South will feature studio, one-bed and two-bedroom apartments each with their own fully equipped kitchen. Located in Amstelveen, to the south of the city, the 10-storey hotel is within walking distance of the international companies who have their headquarters in Amsterdam’s booming district. We have convenient transport links to the Zuidas, central business district (3km), city centre (6km) and Schiphol Airport (8km), making it well placed to cater for the growing demand for extended-stay accommodation options in this part of the city.
As housekeeping supervisor, you are responsible for the cleanliness of our Radisson hotel. You assist the housekeeping manager in managing and dividing the work and tasks to the housekeeping team based on the forecast of the hotel and make sure your team is having fun while working efficient! You train the staff according to our brand standards, monitor the performance of all staff members, assist the room attendants where needed and do a cleaning c heck on all rooms.

You are the housekeeping leader on shift, you report back to your manager and work closely together with the Front Office to ensure a smooth operation.
Who are you?

  • Have excellent communication skills in English. A low level of Dutch is required as well.
  • Be able to commit the housekeeping team to the job and the hotel.
  • Have a hands-on mentality and ability to work independently. 
  • Be organized and a have a great eye for detail.
  • Be a person who easily connects with others and is a true Cycadette, it’s about having fun!!
  • Flexible regarding shifts and days

Job wise you will be trained to:

  • Be responsible for the cleanliness our brand-new Radisson hotel.
  • Assist the housekeeping manager in managing and dividing the work and tasks to the housekeeping team based on the forecast of the hotel.
  • Making sure your team is having fun while working efficient.
  • Train the HSK staff members in our brand standards and expected cleanliness level.
  • Monitor performance of all new HSK staff members (and report back to the Manager).
  • Check the inventory of amenities and cleaning products and make sure to support the team where needed.
  • Assist Room Attendants with cleaning room if needed.
  • Do spot checks/check the rooms cleaned by Room Attendants.
  • Be the HSK Leader on shift.
  • Be responsible for HSK department when the HSK Manager is not there.
  • Work together with the Front Office team to make sure all clean and available rooms are communicated to the FO team in a timely matter.Furthermore, you are expected to:
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Protect company assets.
  • Protect the privacy and security of guests and co-workers.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. 
  • Report issues to the room to the Maintenance Team & FO team accordingly.
