We are looking for a Facility Supervisor!

As Facility Supervisor you are responsible for monitoring and coordinating the day-to-day operations of outsourced companies such as the housekeeping company, stewarding, linen rental, dry-cleaners, florists, window cleaners, waste removal and pest control as well as facilitating the contract renewals by documenting their performance with respect to contracted obligations . Furthermore the Facility Supervisor is leading at least 2 linen room attendees, a team which he completes. The facility supervisor will report directly to the Rooms Division Manager and works hand-in-hand with all operational departments.

Your main responsibilities are:
  • Monitoring the quality of all the cleaning activities which includes regularly checking guest rooms and public areas as well as gathering internal statistics for reporting to the rooms manager and other operational departments
  • Motivating and guiding the linen room employees
  • Working shifts in the linen room, including week-ends and evenings if need be
  • Discussing questions and complaints of guests with all external companies
  • Performing all administrative tasks linked to invoice processing and controlling
  • Being the contact person for the outsourced companies on a daily basis.
  • Ordering and controlling housekeeping supplies on daily/weekly basis
  • Perform ‘Manager on Duty’ assignments and participate in Department Head meetings
  • Ordering and controlling staff uniforms
  • Adhere to the Mövenpick standards including the Sustainable principles
  • We are looking for a colleague with operational hotel or housekeeping experience and with strong organisational qualities. Someone who is able to keep an overview, is stress resistant and a strong communicator towards all external companies and within operational departments.
  • Bachelor degree in Facility or Hotel management
  • Minimum 2 year experience with all housekeeping tasks in a hotel (In sourced and/or outsourced) and/or rooms operations
  • Has knowledge of cleaning contracts and is able to take actions accordingly.
  • Has excellent knowledge of the Dutch and/or English language (oral and in writing)
  • Experience with ISO certification or Service Level agreements is desired

What do we have to offer you:
  • Full-time contract of 38 hours per week
  • This position is classified in scale 6 with a salary between the €2.242,84 - €2.758,42 gross per month according to the Horeca CAO.
  • 25 vacation days per year
  • Travel allowance up to €150,- per month, based on the amount of km.
