Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport is looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor Trainee!
 
Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport is a welcoming place, where guests find uncomplicated experiences in a casual atmosphere. Our hotel has 330 rooms, 6 spacious meeting places and an inviting restaurant. We welcome guests from all over the world, whether for business, group travel or leisure.
As Housekeeping Supervisor Trainee, you are part of the Housekeeping Team, reporting directly to the Rooms Manager. You will be working with other Housekeeping Supervisors and Team leaders to ensure our room cleanliness is up to standards.
 
Responsibilities
 

• Responsible to provide courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service in order to create memorable guest experiences in our hotel;
• Take care of a clean and tidy hotel;
• Partly responsible for the guidance of the Housekeeping attendants and General Services Cleaners to guarantee the cleanliness of the complete hotel, this includes rooms, corridors, and public areas;
• Maintain a good inventory of all Housekeeping supplies;
• Closely collaborate with various departments such as the Front Office;
• Check if all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned in accordance with the hotel’s standards.

Qualifications
 

• You are enrolled in a relevant HBO/Bachelors program in the Netherlands; Hotel Management, Facility Management, or Tourism & Leisure Management;
• You are eligible to perform your internship in the Netherlands;
• You are fluent in English;
• You have an eye for detail, are flexible and pro-active;
• It is not a problem for you to work in rotating shifts and weekends.

 
Preferred Qualifications
 

• You have experience with Opera;
• You live in the Netherlands;
• You have Dutch language skills.
