What are you going to do?
As the new Assistant Front Office Manager, you will share the responsibility of the front office operations together with our Front Office Manager. You will manage the teams during their shift, as well as handling long term projects, team management tasks and general administrative duties belonging to the Front Office.
In addition, you personally welcome our esteemed guests, and together with your colleagues in Guest Relations you serve as a central point of contact in the guest journey. You continually strive to improve the guest experience through your creative thinking and proactive approach.
The Front Office management team puts great emphasis on training and developing their team of receptionists, luggage porters and doormen. A signification portion of training and quality checks will be performed by you.

The different aspects of the Front Office department in the Conservatorium hotel are mostly located in our grand atrium. The Front Office is situated at the very centre of our hotel. This is where our guests check in and out of their room, ask hotel-related questions or seek advice about the city. With a team of experienced and passionate professionals that understand what is required to work in this 5 star luxury hotel, we make sure that all services run seamlessly. The Front Office operates 24/7, so please make sure that when you apply, you are able to work all available shifts.

What do you bring to the team?
Our new colleague is an experienced and supportive person, who likes to provide the highest level of service to their guests. We are looking for a true hotel professional who has experience with supervising teams with different levels of work experience. You are courteous, efficient and flexible at all times (working the occasional nightly hours). Furthermore, you have:
  • At least two years of front office management experience in a luxury hotel;
  • Perfect verbal and written language skills in both Dutch and English (a third language is preferable);
  • Ability and insight to develop your team;
  • Expert knowledge of Opera software;
  • Drive to succeed and the ability to overcome obstacles.
