General Management Internship

Are you an eager and guest orientated hotel student that is looking for a first step towards a management career in the hotel industry? Do you like to be involved in both senior management and daily operations? Would you like to see as much as possible from as many departments as possible?

What are you going to do?
You will be the right hand of our Executive Assistant Manager, who is in charge of the daily operations of our five star luxury hotel. Not a single day in this role is the same and that makes this internship exciting. One day you will be help the operational management team with departmental projects and prepare meetings, the other day you will be working on the website to make sure all our information is up-to-date. Next to that, for two days a week, you will be on the floor to take the position of Quality and Duty Manager. You will be responsible for:

• Assisting all our operational managers such as Housekeeping, Front Office, and Food & Beverage;
• Administrative duties in order to make the operations flow smoothly;
• Finding sustainable solutions to contribute to our guest satisfaction;
• Support with ad hoc tasks that a related to the continuous development of our guest service standards.

What do you bring to the table?

• Genuine interested to take the first step toward a management career within a hotel;
• A good knowledge of the Dutch and English language;
• Enrolled in a HBO Hotel Management study;
• You are available for a period of 10 months.
