Algemene informatie

We are looking for Food and Beverage Service Manager who is responsible for managing all F&B operations (restaurant, bar, terrace, banqueting and room service) and for delivering an excellent guest experience. The successful candidate will be able to create a great place to work for our team members, be the preferred hotel for our hotel guests and to forecast, plan, manage and deliver all F&B revenues and targets.

Hilton Rotterdam is already 60 years a well-known hotel in the city, located in the middle of the city center. Job responsibilities

1. 
Commercial performance

 

  • Establish and deliver targets, KPI’s, schedules, policies and procedures
  • Develop the F&B Operations business plan, considering market strategy, financial targets and business volumes, as well as customer and team member experience

 

2. Excellent Food & Beverage

 

  • Partner with the Kitchen Team to create attractive F&B concepts, menus, products and promotions that drive revenue and profit
  • Design exceptional menus and continuously make necessary improvements

 

3. Exceptional Guest Experiences

 

  • Preserve excellent levels of customer service
  • Identify customers’ needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns
  • Maintaining positive customer relationships, processing complaints, and responding to customer needs

4. Great Working Environment

 

  • Lead the F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising all employees
  • Provide a two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork
  • Practice great people management, from recruitment to training to succession planning and recognition

 

5. Day-to-day Essentials

 

  • Make sure F&B operations strictly comply with all regulations (including health, safety and hygiene, food safety certification, licensing) and that potentially hazardous situations are identified, reported and corrected.
  • Keep up to date with what’s happening in F&B – current and future trends, markets, ingredients, competitors and suppliers – to drive innovation.


Job requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in the hospitality industry, with an emphasis on food and beverages management position
  • Hotel Management School degree
  • Knowledge of the Dutch language
  • Ability to make and meet budget and financial targets
  • Exceptional organizational, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to forecast food and beverage revenues
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Great delegation skills
