Operations Manager - Park Plaza Utrecht

Park Plaza Utrecht is looking for a hands-on, driven Operations Manager to lead daily hotel operations with energy and excellence. Just steps from Utrecht Central Station, our 120-room hotel features a vibrant international team, a stylish restaurant, and dynamic meeting & event spaces-all inspired by the bold design of the Dutch De Stijl movement.

As Operations Manager at Park Plaza Utrecht, you will:

• Lead daily hotel operations, ensuring smooth guest experiences, team performance, and financial results.
• Collaborate with department heads to manage staffing, training, scheduling, and performance.
• Drive revenue by promoting the restaurant, events, and upselling opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, legal, and brand standards, including third-party contracts.
• Be a visible leader-present during peak times, responsive to feedback, and focused on continuous improvement.
• Support strategic planning, marketing initiatives, and service innovation to elevate the guest journey.

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience in hotel operations or hospitality management, ideally in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of hotel departments including front office, F&B, housekeeping, and maintenance
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills
• Commercial awareness and experience with revenue-driving initiatives
• Proficient in hotel systems (e.g. PMS, POS) and Microsoft Office
• Professional proficiency in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
• Experience within Holland-based operations
