What will you be doing as part of HR?
Reports directly to the Human Resources Manager.
Be a supportive compelling advocate of the Element Hotels service culture throughout the property.
Places all advertisements and screens potential Associates.
Coordinates all interview and follow-up with potential Associates.
Provides support and management of new hire Associate’s paperwork.
Administers/coordinates all termination paperwork for Associates.
Responsible for HR-Documentation (HR-Files, HR Manual, etc.)
With support of the Human Resources Manager you will organize staff meetings, trainings and social events for our staff members
Maintains all on property Associates paperwork in a secure and discrete manner.
Additional duties as necessary and assigned.  
 
What will you be doing as part of Duty Management?
Ensure all guests are welcomed and served in a courteous and professional manner executing all Element hotels brand standards during the process.
Act as the first line of contact for all guest complaints or issues.
Solve different kinds of challenges that arise in departments.
Assist the operational teams with all kinds of guest services requests.
Coordinating the best possible service for our VIP guests, in accordance with our Element Amsterdam’s VIP scheme.
Doing control rounds through the hotels public areas, back of house areas and guest rooms.
Central role within emergency situations. You are the coordinator when a fire alarm goes off.
Follow prescribed safety procedures for personnel and equipment by the company and ARBO
Perform all duties required as Fire & Emergency Response Team.
Ongoing responsibility to assure the Element Hotels Service Culture is maintained.
Ensure all quality standards are complied with and that policies and procedures are consistently applied.
Assist department heads in coordinating hotel operations with other departments in order to facilitate increased levels of communication and guest satisfaction.
Compile the daily MOD report.
Contribute to a fun and comfortable working environment.
Drive product quality and operate as the “best in class” in your role.
You work in an environmental friendly way as much as possible and you initiate the implementation of green initiatives to meet the company’s sustainability goals.
Provide support where necessary for other colleagues.
Attend training if desired.
Performing any other tasks which may be reasonably expected of you in our hotel.

Knowledge, skills & abilities: 

Must be able to speak, read, write and understand Dutch & English.
