DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station offers great views, exceptional service and vibrant food & beverage outlets and is currently looking for a new Concierge Supervisor to join the Front of House team!

Our hotel features an award-winning rooftop bar & terrace, pop-up restaurant Eastwood Beer & Grill, a Lobby Bar including our own in-house library, our own Eastwood Coffee Store, Amsterdam's most extensive breakfast buffet, fifteen versatile meeting rooms and 557 guest rooms.

Exciting news! The hotel is undergoing a complete renovation, rebranding and repositioning of all Food & Beverage locations in the hotel in 2023 / 2024, starting with the renovation and rebranding of the SkyLounge Amsterdam in the first quarter of 2023. Room inventory redesign will also be included in this upcoming project!


As a Concierge Supervisor at DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the guest experience by overseeing the concierge team and ensuring the highest level of service delivery. You will be responsible for supervising and guiding the concierge staff, assisting guests with their inquiries and needs, and maintaining the hotel's reputation for excellence in hospitality.


The below mentioned key responsibilities will be part of your day-to-day job:
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate the concierge team to provide exceptional service to guests. Set performance standards, provide feedback, and promote a positive work environment.
  • Guest Services: Greet and assist guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor, addressing their inquiries, providing information about the hotel's facilities and services, and making recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, and activities.
  • Reservations and Bookings: Assist guests with making reservations for restaurants, transportation, shows, tours, and other activities. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in managing bookings.
  • Problem Solving: Handle guest complaints and concerns professionally and efficiently, finding appropriate solutions to ensure guest satisfaction while adhering to hotel policies and procedures.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and execution of guest requests and services.
  • Concierge Desk Operations: Ensure the concierge desk is well-organized, stocked with relevant information, and presents an inviting atmosphere for guests seeking assistance.
  • Local Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local attractions, events, and services to offer valuable recommendations to guests.
  • Administration: Assist in creating schedules, managing payroll, tracking expenses, and maintaining records related to concierge operations.
  • Training: Coordinate and conduct training sessions for new concierge team members, ensuring they are well-versed in hotel services, local area knowledge, and guest interaction skills.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to all safety and security protocols to ensure the well-being of guests, colleagues, and the hotel property.

  • Prior experience in a guest service or concierge role.

  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing guest needs.
  • Strong knowledge of the local area, attractions, and services.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
