As Guest Experience Agent you are exposed to a wide variety of exciting tasks throughout the Front of House and Guest Experience departments of the QO. An exciting rotation between multiple yet separated roles will provide a lot of variety and will also allow you to fully use and further develop your strengths in the reception, guest service centre and guest relations. It is the perfect opportunity to combine three roles in one!

In your roles as receptionist or guest relations agent, you are one of the first team members a guest comes into contact with when arriving at the QO Amsterdam. You are responsible for checking the guest in and out, answering questions, connecting with guests and soliciting feedback and solving complaints. You provide a welcoming, inspiring and professional service to all guests. With your friendly and authentic approach you will create a sense of belonging to the local community. You use the guest profile to surprise guests with unexpected and personalized moments. You recognize regular guests, VIP’s and neighbours, promote hotel services and upsell to maximize revenue whilst maintaining the highest guest expectations.

The Guest Service Centre is the core of the QO, where all technology comes together. The majority of all communications (internal and external) are managed from this section. The content of the in room tablet as well as the QO mobile community app is managed from the Guest Service Centre. When you are on shift in the Guest Service Centre, you are the one dealing with the variety of high end technologies that make the QO an exciting workplace.

This position offers you a lot of variety and is a journey towards all three roles as you discover, learn and grow.


We are a big part of the community and we need to ensure we support it.  Your passion and drive will lead your team to deliver on a much better environment and ways of working, as well as getting involved and out and about with the neighbours as part of community projects. You need to work with your team and your neighbours to develop and deliver on these projects. 


College or Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management and experience within the hospitality industry is preferred. It is your passion to create unique and personalized experiences and you have the ability to build relationships and take ownership. You preferably speak and write fluent Dutch and English, another language is always a plus. You are able to work in any shift, including weekends and night shifts.
