As Front Office Trainee you are part of the amazing Front Office Team, reporting directly to the Front Office Teamleaders and the Assistant Front Office Manager. 
 
Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport is a welcoming place, where guests find uncomplicated experiences in a casual atmosphere. Our hotel has 330 rooms, 6 spacious meeting places and an inviting restaurant. We welcome guests from all over the world, whether for business, group travel or leisure.

Responsibilities
 
  • Welcome guests;
  • Take care of a fluent and quick check in/out of all guests;
  • You take care of internal as well as external phone calls and e-mails;
  • You anticipate on the needs of guests and take action;
  • Provide guests with all information they need;
  • You increase guest satisfaction scores by creating connections with our guests;
  • You take ownership in providing a memorable experience – from check-in throughout the entire stay, to checkout;
  • You take ownership of handling guest complaints and requests in a timely manner;
  • You assist in helping the team to achieve goals;
  • You develop skills in taking ownership in complaint handling;
  • You assist the Assistant Front Office Manager and Teamleaders in handling internal communication such as briefings and ensuring all team members are up to date regarding any changes, promotions etc;
 
Qualifications
 
  • You are enrolled in a relevant HBO/Bachelors program in the Netherlands; Hotel Management, Facility Management, or Tourism & Leisure Management;
  • You have a European passport;
  • You are fluent in English;
  • You are representative, passionate, and feel comfortable with providing a unique and excellent service;
  • You are alert, flexible, and proactive;
  • You are a real team player;
  • You have good social and communicative skills;
  • You are flexible working different shifts;
  • You bring your unique personality to our team of dedicated Front Office Hosts;
  • You have an enthusiastic and caring attitude.
 
 
Preferred qualifications
 
  • You are familiar with OPERA and Micros;
  • You live in the Netherlands.
