Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport is looking for a Teamleader Front Office.
Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport is a welcoming place, where guests find uncomplicated experiences in a casual atmosphere. Our hotel has 330 rooms, 6 spacious meeting places and an inviting restaurant. We welcome guests from all over the world, whether for business, group travel or leisure.
 
We are looking for an easy-going and flexible person, dedicated to creating remarkable connections during the daily interactions with guests and colleagues. As Front Office Teamleader you are part of the Front Office Team and work together with international, motivated and driven colleagues. You will be coaching the Front Office Host and take care of their personal development.

Responsibilities
  • You lead by example by creating connections with guests and leading the team’s success by increasing guest satisfaction scores.
  • You are responsible for the shift and will support the team in solving any problems their may encounter during their shift.
  • You will coach the team by giving constructive feedback and personalized on the job trainings.
  • You ensure the team achieves their goals.
  • You drive the team in taking ownership in complaint handling and assist where necessary.
  • You inspire your team to create memorable experiences for our guests.
  • As Teamleader you are responsible for internal communication such as briefings and ensuring all team members are up to date regarding any changes, promotions etc.
Qualifications
  • You have at least one year experience in a similar job or as Front Office host;
  • Eligible to work in the Netherlands (EU passport or Dutch work permit)
  • Fluent in English
  • Flexible in working different shifts and weekends
  • Open minded, responsible and positive attitude
  • Strong communication skills
 
Preferred Qualification
  • Leadership and/or coaching experience
  • Familiar with OPERA and Micros
  • Social Responsibility (Sociale Hygiene) Certificate
  • BHV Certificate
