Are you someone who has good communication skills and a hands-on mentality, who can deal with deadlines and is interested to learn more about event management at the highest levels of hospitality? This is your chance! The Conservatorium Hotel is looking for a Groups & Events Intern.
 
What are you going to do?
As our Groups & Events intern you will be supporting the Groups & Events department with the daily operations, while steadily taking on increasing levels of responsibility in order to fully understand the department from a variety of perspectives. You will assist with daily administration, projects and the organisation of events, give site inspections within the hotel to potential guests, groups and businesses. Once you are fully trained in this role you will be given to opportunity to host your own events. Lastly, to develop your commercial insights, you support with the creation of reports for the management team.
 
Who are you?
For this dynamic internship we are looking for a student who is sociable, eager to learn and passionate about both event management and sales. Furthermore, you:

• Have excellent command of verbal and written command of English (Dutch is preferred);
• Are enrolled in a Bachelor study, preferably with a hotel- or event management background;
• Have a critical eye for detail and can deal with deadlines;
• Are flexible and stress resistant;
• Are interested in the latest event trends and always looking to provide the best service for your clients;
• Are available for a minimum period of at least 6-10 months.
