As our Banqueting Manager, you make the dreams of our guests come true. Nothing is too crazy; you have a positive mindset and are willing to go the extra mile.

When you are our Banqueting Manager, you together with your team will be responsible for managing all banquets and events in the hotel. You will deliver excellent Guest and Team Member experience while continuously optimizing sales, evaluating performance, and ensuring all staffing levels meet the required needs. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards.

  • Manage all Banquets/Events for Hilton The Hague
  • Maintain and deliver exceptional levels of customer service
  • Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Propose ideas to build the range and quality of Conference and Banquet
  • Optimize sales and contain costs, identifying any areas for action
  • Maintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas and with external customers and suppliers
  • Ensure staffing levels meet business demands
  • Ensure training is carried out on an ongoing basis
  • Ensure communication meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes generated
  • Manage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Recruit, manage, train, and develop the Banqueting team
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation

  • Visible Conference and Banquet Operations experience in a managerial position
  • Excited and willing to build and lead a team of your own
  • Record of success in Conference and Banquets, specifically the ability to deliver profit, control costs, and build customer

  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills to create your winning team
  • Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
