Join our team as Assistant Director of Sales!
 
As Assistant Director of Sales you are part of the Sales & Marketing Team, leading Sales Coordinators and the Sales & Marketing Trainee. You will report directly to the Director of Sales.

Key Responsibilities
Together with de Director of Sales, you will be responsible for the complete Sales Team
  • You will handle and supervise client acquisition, sales calls, sales blitzes and identifying new business;
  • You participate in relevant road-shows, fairs and other relevant events;
  • You will be also responsible for account management to ensure we remain the preferred hotels for all our clients;
  • You assist the Director of Sales in short- and long-term strategic planning
  • You will assist working on the yearly business plan and budget;
  • You will work closely together with the whole sales team to convert clients’ requests into business;
  • You monitor and evaluate local, national, international trends and competition to make sure we can offer all our guests and clients what they need;
  • You will establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and continuously explore new opportunities;
  • You do your utmost to maximize revenue in the most profitable way in line with the set targets;
  • You ensure we organize memorable events in the hotel.
 
Qualifications
  • You have great language skills in English and preferably Dutch;
  • You are pro-active, customer focused, result driven and able to motivate the team to exceed the targets;
  • You are eligible to work in the Netherlands;
  • You have at least four years of experience in Sales & Marketing within the hospitality industry;
  • You thrive through the buzz of working in a dynamic team and in a great hotel;
  • You are eager to learn and grow;
  • You are ready for a new challenge!
 
Preferred qualifications
  • You have experience with a strong focus on the corporate segment and leading a team (within the hospitality industry);
  • You have great computer skills and preferably PMS system knowledge as well (e.g. OPERA).
