Position Summary: As Head of Sales Belgium, you would be responsible for leading and directing the development and implementation of strategic sales plans and initiatives for the Hilton Brussels Grand Place and Hilton Antwerp Old Town to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Lead and direct the development, implementation of the Sales strategic plans and initiatives (procedures, strategies, reporting, actions plans, sales trips) for the Belgium properties to meet hotel budget
  • Partner with the Revenue Management to determine sales pricing strategies, develop rates, deploy competitive data strategies, conduct demand analysis and manage market mix.
  • Proactive work with team members to generate new business targets on Corporate and MICE markets
  • Effective and efficiently manage the US MICE market as well as local key accounts
  • Develop a Sales Action Plan for each market segment across the globe with associated revenue streams.
  • Drive and manage structured Sales blitz (BBOB, Global Week of Sales)
  • Maintain & Strengthen relationship with Hilton Worldwide Sales Office teams
  • Observe the market, identify trends and monitor the main competitors
  • Ensure that the team achieve their respective Targets set by Director of Sales Operations, France and Belgium
  • Utilize and apply current technology and systems effectively
  • Monitor and develop team member performance; providing supervision and professional development with scheduled 1:1 meetings to provide guidance, deliver recognition and reward
  • Recruit, interview and train team members
  • participate weekly in Business Focus Meetings

  • Demonstrated previous experience in a Sales role with the proven ability to close a sale
  • It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
  • Knowledge of the local market
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry
  • A passion for sales and target-based performance
  • Relevant degree, in sales, business development or other relevant business field, from an academic institution
  • Fluency in spoken and written English, French and Dutch
