Your remit:
As a Medewerker Technische Dienst  with Motel One, you will be primarily responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: coordination of the Hotel Maintenance Manager
Forward planning in carrying out repairs, maintenance measures & quality assurances
Ensure that all of the hotel's own equipment is in order, clean and complete
Optimising of the workflow within the Maintenance Department
Daily inspection of house operations with a view to troubleshooting
Communication, coordination & cooperation with authorities & organisations
Keep up to date records ready for the quarterly inspection of the systems
Responsible for all health & safety related testing, legislation and compliance in coordination with the Mainatance Manager
Maintain up to date the log plans & all associated documentation for fire compliance
Maintain green areas according to time of year
Introduction of new hotel employees & external service providers
Conducting internal coaching & training sessions for all co-workers as part of further development & compliance with all health & safety issues (fire protection, accident prevention, etc.)

Your profile:Experience in manual professions, ideally apprenticeship in electronics & previous experience in a similar position within hospitality
Skilled in Computer literacy & basic understanding of IT
Well presented, passionate & enthusiastic with a positive, professional approach
Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
Ability to work on your own & as part of a team
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
Excellent eye for detail

With the opening of our Motel One Amsterdam in 2015 we set a further milestone in our expansion. The new Motel One is our first hotel in the Netherlands, with 320 rooms and a spacious One Lounge. Situated in the district „The Zuidas“, Amsterdam’s new Finance Centre in the south of the city, the hotel is close to the conference and exhibition centre  „RAI“. Public transportation is located in front of the hotel and takes the hotel guests in 15 minutes to the historical centre of Amsterdam.
