Are you the experienced Housekeeping Supervisor with a ‘can do’ attitude? Do you want to coach a team and help them develop while also contributing to our guest’s five-star experience?

What will be your role?
We are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor who wants to step up in their career. In this diverse role you are in charge of an assigned section of rooms and carry the responsibility to ensure courteous and efficient service is provided. Your main tasks will be to supervise and coach the room attendants and housemen, preparing work sheets and performing quality checks on guest rooms. Additionally, you will report maintenance issues to Engineering, collaborate with Security on lost and found items and prepare rooms for VIPs in cooperation with Front Office. Familiarity with Opera, REX, and HotSos systems is essential for this role. As you progress in your Housekeeping Supervisor role, we will support your professional growth and give you access to additional responsibilities and projects.

What will your 5-star luxury working environment look like?
Housekeeping at the Conservatorium hotel is different from other hotels and you are part of the largest team on property. With fellow passionate colleagues, you keep the hotel in pristine condition. The housekeeping team consists of houseman, public area attendants, room attendants, seamstress, turndown attendants, supervisors and management. Everyone has a specific work area and we exclusively use products that are harmless to the environment.
When working in this department, you can expect to start between 7:00AM-9:00AM, 3:00PM if you have the PM shift, while the turndown attendants only work between 5:30 PM and 9:30 PM.

Who are we looking for?
Our new colleague is a team orientated and reliable colleague, who enjoys working in a multi cultured group of housekeeping professionals. Furthermore, you have:

• At least three years of experience in Housekeeping, of which 1 year as shift leader/supervisor (preferably at a five-star hotel);
• A strong sense of responsibility, flexible work ethic, and quality minded and knows how to deliver exceptional service;
• Intermediate proficiency in the English language;
• Accommodation in or around Amsterdam.
