Uniform Room Supervisor

What are you going to do?
The Uniform Room Supervisor will be in charge of all uniforms the hotel provides to the colleagues. You will manage the uniform fittings, administration and ordering of new uniforms. In addition, you handle all guest and colleague laundry requests by either in-house treatment or in cooperation with external agencies. You are supported by our Housemen, who will pick-up and return the guest laundry. Where this role might lack in direct guest-contact, it makes up for it with daily colleague-contact. In this role you will know the entire hotel team by face and name; and you enjoy resolving their uniform queries. You will work together with our Seamstress and process all administrative uniform changes in our automatic uniform system.
 
What will your 5-star luxury working environment look like?
Housekeeping in this hotel is different from other hotels and you are part of the largest team on property. With fellow passionate colleagues, you keep the hotel in pristine condition. The Housekeeping team consists of Houseman, Public Area Attendants, Room Attendants, Seamstress, Turn Down Attendants, Supervisors and Management.
 
Who are you?
Our new colleague is a team orientated and reliable colleague, who enjoys working in a multi cultured group of housekeeping professionals. This role requires you to work independently and have a proactive approach to ensure all uniform room tasks and enquiries are handled and communicated on time. You enjoy close contact with your colleagues and you are eager to support them. Furthermore, you have:

• At least 1 year Uniform Room Attendant or Supervisor experience;
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively;
• Ability to proactively come up with new ideas that promote the operation of the Uniform Room;
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and writing) in English;
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel basic);
• Accommodation in or around Amsterdam.
