The Conservatorium hotel in Amsterdam is looking for a Guest Laundry Attendant to join our team and take ownership over this new role! Do you have the proper experience and elegance to provide personalised service to our luxury guests?

What are you going to do?
As our new colleague, the majority of your attention will be focused on guest laundry, uniform fittings and adjustments. You handle all guest and colleague laundry requests by either in-house treatment or in cooperation with our external partner. Proper communication with our guests is key and you make an effort to communicate to them according to our service standards.
On incidental basis, you will be asked to provide laundry and seamstress services to our hotel guests. This involves packing and unpacking of guest luggage, ironing/steaming guest clothing, sewing or clothing repairs and other services related to the wardrobe of our guests.

In this role you will know the entire hotel team by face and name; and you enjoy resolving their uniform queries. The majority of your shifts will start around 14:30 and finish around 18:30, however when our guests request your services your schedule can change. You will work together with our Seamstress and report to the Uniform Room Supervisor and Executive Housekeeper.

Who are you?
Our new colleague is a detail-orientated and reliable colleague, who enjoys working in a multi-cultured group of housekeeping professionals. This role requires you to work independently and have a proactive approach to ensure all tasks and enquiries are handled and communicated on time. Furthermore, you have:

• At least 1-year of uniform room, seamstress or guest laundry experience;
• Service-minded approach and ability to deliver 5 star service;
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently;
• Excellent verbal communications skills in English;
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts (mornings, evenings and weekends);
• Interest to develop your skills to include luggage service, laundry services and other operating equipment.
