DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station offers great views, exceptional service and vibrant food & beverage outlets and is currently looking for a new Storekeeper to join the Storekeeping team!
Our hotel features an award-winning rooftop bar & terrace, pop-up restaurant Eastwood Beer & Grill, a Lobby Bar including our own in-house library, our own Eastwood Coffee Store, Amsterdam's most extensive breakfast buffet, fifteen versatile meeting rooms and 557 guest rooms.
Exciting news! Our hotel is in the midst of an extensive renovation, including the rebranding and repositioning of all Food & Beverage outlets in 2024. LuminAir, our Rooftop Bar, has already undergone an impressive rebranding and reopened in June 2023. Keep an eye out for further improvements, including the redesign of our room inventory, as part of this massive project!

About the position:

As a Storekeeper, you play an essential role in the smooth operation of our hotel. You are responsible for efficiently managing our inventory so that our guests can always enjoy the best service and quality. Your tasks include:

  • Accurate receipt and control of orders: You receive goods from various suppliers, check the quality and quantity and place them in the correct place in our organized warehouse.
  • Order picking with attention to detail: Based on order slips in Birchstreet, our warehouse management system, you carefully collect the orders for our kitchen and bar.
  • Inventory optimization: You manage the inventory, keep a close eye on expiration dates and order new products in a timely manner when needed.
  • A spotless warehouse environment: You ensure that the warehouse is neat and tidy so that you can find everything quickly and efficiently.
  • Administrative tasks with precision: You process invoices and keep accurate records of inventory.
  • Lead a team: You lead a team of 2 other storekeepers and ensure that they work together with you to carry out the work efficiently and in accordance with company policy.

  • A computer-savvy individual: You are proficient in the use of computer systems, such as for warehouse management and ordering and receiving.
  • A multilingual communicator: You are fluent in English and Dutch is a plus.
