Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport is looking for an Accounting Clerk

Are you looking for the next step in Accounting? Join our team as Accounting Clerk! Long story short, you are the kind of person who has eye for detail and is really well- organized. As Accounting Clerk, you will work with amazing colleagues in the Finance team, and reporting directly to the Finance Manager.
 
Responsibilities
 

• As Accounting Clerk, you will be performing certain tasks in accounts receivable, payable & general cashier while reporting directly to the Finance Manager;
• You will follow up on AR and AP invoices and ensure the accuracy of all debits and credits posted to AR and GL accounts;
• You will be participating in a monthly inventory counts and processing inventory in the hotel procurement system

• You will prepare month-end journals.
• You are pro-active and solve any discrepancies you find and take care weekly or monthly reconciliations.

Qualifications
 

• You are fluent in English;
• You are a good problem solver
• You have an eye for details and good organization skill;
• You are pro-active, open-minded, and eager to learn.
• You are eligible to work in the Netherlands and/or have a Dutch working permit;

 
Preferred Qualifications
 

• Opera knowledge;
• Experience with a cash machine (we have Glory);
• Familiar with Birchstreet (or other procurement system).
