As a Kitchen Steward / Afwasser, you will be responsible for maintaining exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout our kitchens and back-of-house areas. Working closely with the kitchen team, you will play a key role in supporting efficient operations and creating a safe, organised, and welcoming environment for both guests and colleagues.

This flexible 0-hour position is ideal for students, hospitality starters, or anyone looking for an extra job alongside their studies, family commitments, or other work.

Responsibilities

* Clean and maintain china, glassware, silverware, kitchen utensils, and chefs' equipment to the highest standards.

* Carry out dishwashing and deep-cleaning duties for kitchen machinery, kitchen areas, storage facilities, and back-of-house colleague areas.

* Ensure all cleaning activities are completed in accordance with hygiene, HACCP, Health & Safety, and company standards.

* Support the kitchen and Food & Beverage teams by maintaining clean, organised, and safe working environments.

* Report maintenance issues, incidents, accidents, and safety concerns while following company procedures and guidelines.

* Communicate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive and efficient team environment.

Essential Requirements

* Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.

* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

* Flexible availability to work different shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.

* Ability to communicate in English.

* Eligible to work in the Netherlands.

Preferred Requirements

* Previous experience in a Steward, Kitchen Porter, Cleaning, or Hospitality Support role.

* Basic knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and cleaning procedures.

* Experience working in a hotel, restaurant, or catering environment.

* Interest in developing a career in hospitality or becoming a Chef in the future.
