Housekeeping Supervisor – Canal House Amsterdam

Canal House is an intimate luxury boutique hotel located on Amsterdam's iconic Keizersgracht. Set across three beautifully restored 17th-century canal houses, our hotel features 23 individually designed rooms and is proud to be part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH).
Canal House is a boutique hotel with 23 rooms, where attention to detail, personal service and high standards are at the heart of what we do.

Our Housekeeping department is responsible for the daily cleaning and preparation of our 23 hotel rooms, public areas and garden, ensuring that every part of the hotel is presented to our guests at the highest standard.

The role

As Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be an important part of our Housekeeping team. You will support the daily operation of the department and help ensure that all rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces are clean, well maintained and prepared according to our standards.

You will work closely with the Executive housekeeping manager and the team, providing guidance and support to colleagues while maintaining a strong focus on quality, efficiency and guest satisfaction.

We are looking for someone who:

Has previous supervisory or leadership experience, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment
Has experience in hotel housekeeping or professional cleaning
Is organised, independent and accurate in their work
Has a strong eye for detail and high quality standards
Is thoughtful, flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities
Has a guest- and team-oriented attitude
Is professional and representative
Has good communication skills and speaks English confidently
Is energetic, enthusiastic and motivated
Enjoys working hands-on as part of a team
