What’s The Job? 

  "The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As a Front Office Supervisor - Duty Manager, you’ll not only be the person they rely on to handle transactions, offer local insights and anticipate every detail of a friction-free experience. You’ll also create the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in Holiday Inn The Hague - Voorburg    You Are Responsible For Being the warm and friendly welcome that kicks off a memorable guest experience. 
Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests, in person or on the phone.
Take and manage guest bookings, up-selling opportunities.
Supervise and coach our agents in efficient and accurate reception operations, including check in/out procedures and incoming and transferring telephone calls. 
Stay one step ahead of guests’ needs – record and act on their preferences and handle their messages, requests, questions and concerns. 
Stay safe at all times. Following our safety procedures and report all incidents.
Carry out shift handovers and brief team members as required.
Follow company brand standards.
Understand and apply correct finance and hotel credit policy procedures. 
Co-selecting new employees and assist in job interviews. 

What We Need From You Excellent communication and social skills.  
Fluent in Dutch and English, an additional foreign language is a pré. 
Opera experience preferred but not a must. 
Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
You are a real Team player.
Flexibility - morning, evening or night's, weekends and holidays.
Experience - ideally you have worked at least 2+ years in a front desk or guest service position. 
Stress-resistant and representative.
